Today I was talking about how I feel like life is a horse. A horse that has knocked me into the mud, kicked the wind out of me, and trampled me a bit. I swore today that once I could catch my breath and get up out of the mud, life better be careful because it was gonna be SO FUCKING ON.
Then, Ashley said something so fucking important:
She said ‘You know Majestic, maybe we’ll never get out of the...

At a quick glance, this site looks pretty sweet. I can’t find anything that talks explicitly about it being a queer project, so I’m not sure how it will go over for butches and trans folk with non-normative bodies. They take submissions and feedback, maybe we should ask them? What do you think?

dear mia,
sometimes i become so frightened by the way that you are able to see me.
you say things like:
“i see your rage.”
“i see your sadness.”
i am not used to people seeing me, mostly because i don’t trust others to let them in enough. i have spent my life forced to bury my anger so…
The Body Love Letter Project
Thank you everyone for all of your wonderful body love letters. This started out as a suggestion by Majestic, and turned into a really big and exciting project for us here at Glitter Politic. These incredible expressions of self love really fit in to what Glitter Politic is all about, which is a manifesto (or politic) of self love, which you can (and should) read about here. We have received way...

on love and rage
Too often in our social justice endeavors we leave powerful human emotions like love and rage out of the equation, failing to recognize their transformational potential. When we allow love and rage to take up more space in our visions for a radically different world, we expose them as weapons, with profound potential to undermine fear and open up rich new possibilities ripe with beauty,...
An update + more info on the zine. →
innerfatgirl:
Okay. So, there seems to be some confusion, so here is a list of what I am planning on doing.
1. Originally, I was going to make a zine about body politics/activism that happens online, specifically things we produce/write on tumblr.I am still making that zine, and if you want to submit to it,…
people can also feel free to submit art or photography love letters!

So this zine I am working on has sort of gotten bigger than just something I am handing out to some undergrads. I want to make it bigger so I encourage you all to submit more things to erinlegay@gmail.com or in my hot gay ask box. One thing I would really love is if you would write a love letter…
I decided to ask others to do this in a joy filled moment of whim & fancy,...
A love/thank you letter to my body, by Ashley Aron
Dear body,
Thank you for carrying this weight. Without you, i think my heart would break under the stress of it all. If i couldn’t feel this pain in the places where limbs connect, in the places between muscle and bone, in the places between skin and fat, if i couldn’t feel this pain in my gut, in my mouth, in my ears and in my hands, i’d feel it all in my heart. Thank you...

criticallyqueer:
I’m so sick of polyamory as the pinnacle of queer anarchism and polyamory as MORE. Ownerships of bodies is not exclusive or tied to monogamy; practices of governing bodies move in and through the trafficking of bodies, the medical industrial complex, racism, the meat industry, the prison industrial complex, sexism, slavery, and more. There’s nothing radical about telling...

Hey- I’m not sure if this is the right way to respond, because I don’t really understand tumblr. But I was skimming this blog and came across some conversation about a repost of a quote from my 2008 keynote at the Femme Conference. The quote was “Femme is any way of being a girl that doesn’t…
